Eric Konitzer

Eric recieved his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2017, and completed his Master’s in electrical engineering with the Optical MEMS Group. Eric’s work in the lab focused on the development for a foundational basis for new styles of uncooled long wavelength infrared detectors.

Outside the lab, Eric biked, hiked, and camped Minnesota as much as he could, as well as playing guitar and trombone (not at the same time). Despite our pleas to stay, he left the Optical MEMS Group upon completion of his M.S.E.E. in May 2019, and can now be found advancing optics research at Johns Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Laboratory.
