Grant earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2023 and is the newest addition to the OMEMS group. His first project involves testing the resilience of contaminated optics in high-energy systems, and he is very excited to start exploding things using powerful lasers. Also, he wishes the other group members would keep the office and lab a bit cleaner, but he doesn’t have high hopes for that to come true.
Outside of academics, Grant enjoys ultimate frisbee, nordic skiing, watching football (Go Packers!) and taking his dog Fika for walks around Minneapolis.
